Phil Hellmuth Has Epic Meltdown On ‘No Gamble, No Future,’ Storms Off Set

After an angry outburst at the Aria in Las Vegas, poker legend Phil Hellmuth rushed off the set during the production of an episode of Poker Go's "No Gamble, No Future."

“The Poker Brat” ripped off his microphone and threw it on the table after he felt he had been disrespected by his opponent, “Humboldt Mike.”

Despite having more World Series bracelets than anybody else on the earth (17), Hellmuth's famous passionate outbursts are legendary. Even though the 60-year-old, who previously said he could "dodge bullets, baby," may have softened in recent years, the explosion that happened last week might go down in history.

"Start the car"

It all began last week when Hellmuth lost a big pot to Mike in the $200/$400 No-Limit Hold'em cash game. But for some time, trouble had been simmering. Hellmuth had previously lost against Ryan Feldman's pocket queens in a coinflip involving A-K.

“F–ing morons running like this against me, it’s unbelievable,” he seethed.

After Mike raised Hellmuth's salary to $9,000 and faced multiple straddles, he woke up with A-Q and put all of his remaining $24K into it. When Mike flipped over pocket jacks, he was in a flip again.

When an ace emerged in the window, everything was going well for Hellmuth; however, when a jack struck on the river, things took a turn for the worse.

“Start the car baby, let’s go!” sang Mike dancing a jig around his chair.

However, his subsequent remark was what really set Hellmuth off.

“Phil, I’ve got an address if you need to send some [money],” Mike said, as the dealer counted out the chips.

‘You Want Me to Quit?’

Cue meltdown: “Buddy, I told you, alright, you want me to quit? Alright I’m going to f–ing quit. I can’t play with you anymore. You’re such an a–hole, man,” spat Hellmuth.

"I don’t mind losing the flip, I really don’t,” he continued. “But come on, I asked you not to do that s–t. You have been more out of line to me than any other person. No, you’ve been more out of line to me than any other person has been to me in a year and a half. F–k you, man. I don’t know who you f–ing are, but I’m never going to film with you again.”

It's quite epic, even for a Hellmuth blowup. Given the viral potential of the Poker Brat's meltdowns, PokerGo is undoubtedly the true victor in this case. On YouTube, this one has already received half a million views.
